received Continuing Medical Education (CME) Category One accreditation
from the California Medical Association. All of GeneEd's catalog
and custom-developed scientific e-learning is now certified by CMA
for Category I accreditation, allowing all physicians, nurses and
other health care professionals to receive full CME credits for
completion of GeneEd Life Science E-Learning.
The Medical Board of California requires licensed physicians to
complete at least 25 hours of approved Category One or other acceptable
CME per year, and must complete at least 100 hours of Category One
CME every four years. Nurses and other healthcare professionals
are also subject to rigorous CME and other continuing education
requirements by their individual governing boards.
