Paul
M. Eisele (CEO)
Paul Eisele has more than 30 years experience in intellectual
property development ranging from book publishing to film entertainment
to electronic learning. An authority in business start-ups and
turnarounds, Eisele played a key role as a senior executive in
the start-ups of Home Box Office, Warner Home Video, and Fairfield
Research; and in the turnarounds of Manhattan Cable Television
and Time-Life Video. Most recently, Eisele was President and CEO
of SyberVision Systems, a producer and distributor of health,
sports, and foreign language trainings. Eisele holds degrees from
Yale and Columbia Universities. |

Dr.
Alycia Shilton-Lloyd, PhD (CSO)
Dr. Alycia Shilton-Lloyd received a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular
and Developmental Biology, a M.S. in Biology, and a Masters
in Philosophy from Yale University. Her research experience
includes identification of a novel interaction between hormone
response and cell-adhesion pathways, and the coordination of
three labs at Yale and Miami University (Ohio). She has lectured
at the university undergraduate level and designed and taught
advanced genetics for Yale-sponsored, inner-city high school
honors programs. She currently serves as an advisor and adjunct
faculty member for the San Francisco State University Clinical
Research Associate program. |

Dr.
Hugh Rienhoff (Chairman of the Board)
Dr. Hugh Rienhoff was a General Partner investing in the Life
Sciences sector at Vanguard Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing
in seed and early stage technology investments. He has worked
in the healthcare sector for many years holding the position of
CEO, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist. Prior to joining Vanguard,
Dr. Rienhoff founded DNA Sciences (originally Kiva Genetics) and
served as its Chairman and CEO until September 2001. Recently,
he was a Director with Abingworth Management Ltd., where he ran
the US operations for the London-based venture firm. Dr. Rienhoff
received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Johns Hopkins University
School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors,
in Biology and English Literature from Williams College. In addition,
he has trained in mathematics, medicine, and genetics at Harvard
University, Johns Hopkins University, and the Fred Hutchinson
Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. |

Dr.
Sunil Maulik
Dr. Sunil Maulik obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Biology and
Physics from Kings College, London; a M.S. in X-ray crystallography
from Birkbeck College, London; and his Ph.D. in Biophysics from
Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. He has over fourteen years
of experience in the life sciences/bioinformatics industry, including:
six years at IntelliGenetics as Manager of technical support and
consulting; two years at Oxford Molecular as a Senior Applications
Scientist; three years at Tripos Inc. as the Western Region Sales
Manager; a year at Roche Bioscience as a Consultant in New Computer
Technologies; and two years at Pangea Systems as Director of Business
Development. Dr. Maulik is co-author of the book "Molecular Biotechnology:
Therapeutic Applications and Strategies" with Dr. Salil D. Patel. |

Thanos
Triant
Traint received BS and MS degrees in EE and Computer Science from
Columbia University and has held management positions with: AltoTech
Ventures, Times Mirror, Sun Microsystems, Standard & Poors
and McGraw-Hill. He invests in early-stage technology companies
and enjoys guiding entrepreneurial teams as an active advisor
and board member. Current investing interests are: software, infrastructure,
digital media, internet services and “where IT meets everyday
life”.
Traint has extensive operating experience in online products,
services, content management, distribution, IT management, and
operations. He has been an executive with computer, financial
services, and publishing companies. During his career, he has
managed large software teams, developed financial data products,
and led corporate strategy and M&A.
Current investments are: ClairMail, Inc., Xactly Corp., Consorte
Media, Spot-On, Before the Call, Real Travel, Navio and GoFish.
Traint serves on the Board of Directors at Atypon and GeneEd.
Past investments include: Siebel Systems, Securify, ClearStation,
Rightworks, Valicert, Sendmail, Adspace Networks, and Seagate.
