GeneEd's catalog and custom-developed scientific

nurses, and other health care professionals to complete GeneEd Life Science
E-Learning for full CME credits.
San Francisco, CA, October 1, 2002—GeneEd, Inc., the leading provider
of advanced e-Learning solutions for the life science industry (including pharmaceuticals,
biotechnology, health care, and medical instruments and devices), today announced
that it has received Continuing Medical Education (CME) Category One accreditation
from the California Medical Association. GeneEd's catalog and custom-developed

allowing physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to receive
full CME credits upon completion of GeneEd Life Science E-Learning.
The Medical Board of California requires licensed physicians to complete at
least 25 hours of approved Category One or other acceptable CME per year. They
must complete at least 100 hours of Category One CME every four years. Nurses
and other health care professionals are also subject to rigorous CME and other
continuing education requirements by their individual governing boards.
"GeneEd is honored to have had its scientific e-learning assessed via the
California Medical Association's rigorous CME accreditation process and earn
the CMA's highest level of accreditation", said Dr. Salil Patel, Chief
Science Officer for GeneEd. "This CME Category One accreditation from the
CMA, as well as GeneEd's new Therapeutic Area curricula, exemplifies GeneEd's
scientific and medical aptitude, as well as GeneEd's experience and expertise
in educating Life Science and Health Care industry personnel in complex scientific
subject areas".
