Paul
M. Eisele (Chief Executive Officer)
Paul Eisele has more than 30 years experience in intellectual
property development, ranging from book publishing, to filmed
entertainment, to electronic learning. An authority in business
start-ups and turnarounds, Eisele played key roles as a senior
executive in the start-ups of Home Box Office, Warner Home Video,
and Fairfield Research, and in the turnarounds of Manhattan
Cable Television and Time-Life Video. Most recently Eisele was
President and CEO of SyberVision Systems, a producer and distributor
of health, sports, and foreign language training. Eisele holds
degrees from Yale and Columbia Universities. |

Dr.
Hugh Rienhoff, MD (Chairman of the Board)
Hugh Rienhoff is an entrepreneur and Founder of
MyDaughtersDNA.org, a organization dedicated to rare genetic conditions.
Dr. Rienhoff has more than 14 years experience as a venture
investor and entrepreneur in the life science sector. During
much of the 90’s he was a partner at New Enterprise Associates,
a venture investment firm based in Menlo Park, California and
Baltimore, Maryland, leading their biotechnology investing.
He was a founding director of such companies as Healtheon/WebMD
(HLTH) and Aurora Biosciences (ABSC). In 1998, he founded DNA
Sciences (originally Kiva Genetics) and served as its Chairman
& CEO until late 2001. Before founding DNA Sciences, he
was a Director of Abingworth Management Ltd., where he ran the
U.S. operation of the London-based venture firm. Dr. Rienhoff
has served on numerous boards including Microcide (MCDE), Hexagen
and Vactex and currently serves as a board member for Peptimmune,
Iconix Pharmaceuticals, and Hydra Biosciences.
Dr. Rienhoff was recently appointed as a member of the faculty
in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Johns
Hopkins University School of Medicine. He trained in mathematics,
medicine, and genetics at Harvard University, Johns Hopkins
University, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in
Seattle, Washington. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree
from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Bachelor
of Arts degree, with honors, in Biology and English Literature
from Williams College. |

Dr.
Alycia Shilton-Lloyd, PhD (Chief Scientific Officer)
Dr. Alycia Shilton-Lloyd received a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular
and Developmental Biology, a Masters in Philosophy, and a M.S.
in Biology from Yale University. Her research experience includes
identification of a novel interaction between a hormone response
and cell-adhesion pathways, and the coordination of three labs
at Yale and Miami University (Ohio). She has lectured at the
university undergraduate level, designed and taught advanced
genetics for Yale-sponsored inner-city high school honors programs,
and currently serves as an advisor and adjunct faculty member
for the San Francisco State University Clinical Research Associate
program. |

Steve
Gupta (Senior Financial Advisor )
Gupta brings more than 20 years of management experience in
enterprise-level companies; of which, 10 years have been international
locations such as the UK, India, and Indonesia. Gupta served
as Division CFO at Bank of America, as Country CFO at Ernst
and Young Consulting, and as VP of Finance & Administration
at a Silicon Valley software company. Steve has a B.S. in Business
Administration from Middlesex University in London, England. |

Walker (Vice President of Sales)
Mark Walker has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and bioengineering industries, including senior sales positions at the Institute for International Research, the Pall Corporation, and Amicon, Inc. Mark is responsible for direct sales to bioengineering, laboratory sciences, healthcare and bioinstruments.

Terry
Carmichael, M.Sc. (Director of Internet Marketing and Sales)
Terry holds a Masters Degree in Molecular Medicine and Genetics
from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Soon after completing
his degree, Terry worked as a Technical Sales Specialist for
QIAGEN, a leader in providing DNA extraction and purification
solutions to the life science and clinical research industries.
Terry moved on to work as a Product Manager for Bio-Rad Laboratories
where he managed the development and product launch of several
DNA purification products which are still offered at Bio-Rad
today. In 1997, Terry founded the GeneTree DNA Testing Center,
the first company to provide full-service, direct-to-consumer
genetic testing. GeneTree was sold to Sorenson Genomics in 2001.
While with GeneTree, Terry positioned the first human DNA testing
product on the shelf of two major retail chains, Rite Aid and
Meijer. In 2003, Terry founded the Biotech Learning Institute,
the first company to distribute single user eLeaning licenses
over the internet. The Biotech Learning Institute merged its
ecommerce activities with GeneEd in 2006.

Karin
Ruppert-Turner (Director of Product Development)
Karin received an MS in Clinical and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Basel, Switzerland, and a Certificate in Multimedia, with emphasis in Information Design, from SFSU. Her academic research focused on different modes of learning and the interaction between the mode of learning and the malleability of memory. Her previous work experience includes working with children and adolescents with learning disabilities, and developing teaching and therapeutic strategies to increase learning and performance. At GeneEd, Ms. Ruppert-Turner oversees product development. Working closely with clients and with GeneEd's team of scientists, instructional designers, and Flash developers, she ensures that GeneEd's courses not only meet the highest standards of quality, but also are completed on time and within budget. |

Vin
Eiamvuthikorn (Manager
of Product Development)
Vin, Manutchai Eiamvuthikorn has a Bachelor of Science in Material
Science R&D from Chulalongkorn University, and a Certification
in Internet Design and Technology from San Francisco State University.
His background and experience make him ideal designer for GeneEd's
graphical needs. He possesses expert knowledge in Flash ActionScript,
JavaScript, and professional graphic and animation software.
His ability to work in a global environment, his scientific
knowledge, and his attention to detail, ensure that GeneEd projects
are user friendly, instructionally sound, and error free. Vin
has been with the GeneEd team for over 6 years and is the lead
member of the Innovations Team.

Jeff Narvid (Manager
of Learning Design)
Jeff has a MA in Education, with a focus on Instructional Technologies,
as well as a BA in Biology. He has served as a Shansi Fellow at Obirin
University in Japan and a Senior Instructional Designer at the University
of California, Berkeley.
